sculptor Lorie O Follett this beautiful,
signed, original
mermaid art doll was sculpted from
polymer clay.
The entire piece measures
14 inches
tall including the removable base.
Her
colorful tail design was not painted but rather was created
using millefiori, an ancient
glassmaking technique adapted to polymer
clay in which colored clays are
painstakingly blended and combined to create a design.
Her
wavy strawberry blond hair is Tibetan
lamb.
The
sculpted base features 5 swimming mermaids,
tumbled amethyst stones and Swarovski
crystals.
